Why we're building this

I'm Nancy — new mom to Naomi (born last July), living in West Portal with my husband James and our rescue pup Alfie. I've been in SF for nearly 15 years, grew up in the Bay, and spent a lot of that time in fast-moving, high-intensity environments — Wall Street, big tech, and eventually founding my own healthtech company.

Then everything shifted at once. My startup was acquired. I lost my mother to cancer. And I gave birth to my daughter. What followed was a quieter, slower kind of becoming — a move from the bright, achieving, performative "yang" toward something more rhythmic, relational, and rooted. More "yin".
